Currently Liz is a Furniture Restoration Artist at Trefler's Restoration and the Studio Assistant for Q2Q Comics where she helps with quality control, manning the signing booths at conferences, organizing, fulfilling Kickstarters for book printing, and even wrote a comic once. She is a graduate of Ohio University with an MFA in Production Technology - Props where she studied under Tom Fiocchi. Her home base is currently Boston, MA.
She is originally from the Pacific Northwest (Mukilteo, WA) where she graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in Theatre (concentrations in Technical Theatre & Scenic Design). Liz also holds dual citizenship with the US & Canada.
Liz worked for two years at Wyrmwood Gaming (a well known luxury tabletop gaming accessory company), finishing out as the Marquetry Specialist & Specialty Product Lead. For four summer seasons she worked at Stages St. Louis (two as Assistant Prop Master). Previously she's worked for companies including Barter Theatre, MIT, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, and PNTA. She has also been an active member of USITT since 2011 and assisted in 2018 with Props Lab on the Stage Expo floor.
Liz prefers to take jobs that will provide opportunities for creative problem-solving, increasing her skill set, and working with other creative folk. While her career has leant to her making many, many fancy boxes, she would enjoy some diversity of projects as well.
Her hobbies include cross-county roadtripping, watching terrible Sci-Fi B movies, Dungeons & Dragons, and taking things apart so she can figure out how they work. She also has two very adorable cats named Poe (aka Poetato) and Spoops.
